Characters - Susan Rodriguez
As we start out, she's a reporter at the Midwestern Arcane, a yellow magazine
covering all sorts of supernatural and paranormal events in and around Chicago. She's
always hunting for a good story, her attraction to Harry bringing her closer to the source.
And closer to danger as well.
Not only does she get a pretty close look at a slime spitting demon and a rampaging
werewolf, her unplanned visit at a vampire ball leads to a very unpleasant ending.
For both her and Harry.
Although they love each other, Susan has to leave town in order not to harm Harry and
herself.
